Beyond the Chanel double pearl necklace …

The Chanel double pearl necklace, which goes back to fall 2000/ 2001 and celebrated a comeback for spring 2014 started a trend in the field of modernized pearls. This unique necklace shape inspired several jewelry designers from the ultra high end to high street to launch their own versions of the style. Find my 4 favorites below!

Sophie Bille Brahe, the Danish designer, has two really beautiful versions of the double pearl choker included in her Le Rêve collection. They are both smaller than the Chanel double pearl necklace and have a fabulous minimalist elegance, which makes them great to be combined with almost everything! For a real investment the Brasil – New York based designer Ana Khouri has a great double pearl choker made of a vintage looking black gold, which fascinated me so much at Dover Street Market New York. Zara is great if you don’t want to spend a fortune on that style! Alternatively the internet is full of DIY tutorials for those who have the time and the skills (here)!
