The Dior tribal earrings price is a question of debate. While the Dior homepage officially says 270 EURO for the initial pearl Mise en Dior tribal earring, 310 EURO for the kautschuk coated Gum Tee shirt and the metal Dior Tee shirt, resale prices on ebay and co. can be much higher. While in Paris about 2 weeks ago I found a store in the Marais, which offered an almost look alike earring for 29 EURO!!! Obviously its fake!?

Sure fake is bad, it hurts the industry etc.! But just to be honest the Dior tribal earrings have been introduced 1 year ago, there was a flood of street style photos showing fashion people wearing them and everyone wants them. Dior makes fun of all those customers wanting a pair, putting them on waiting lists, not selling anything to them and leaving them disappointed to an amount that they start buying the earring from a reseller for double price.
So why not buying the obvious fake? The black, kautschuk version looks great and fills a gap in the Dior portfolio!
What do you think regarding the Dior tribal earrings sale policies at the Dior stores? Do you feel that the Dior tribal earrings price is justified? Would you buy the fake?
I stumbled upon your site in my search for these very same earrings. Although a year behind in fashion ( I just realized these existed) I LOVE them. I would love to own a pair of Dior ones but I think they are too expensive and for what they actually are, not worth the price. Also, the style won’t last THAT long, right? Of course the price is absolutely not justified – the pearl is resin and the metal can’t be specified in store. I also wouldn’t buy the fake, because for me this is even worse trying to look like anyone else with the help of fake. I usually try to find unique pieces, that no one else has!!!
I cannot justify Dior price at hundreds of dollars for a pair of Faux Pearl earrings. And yes I do and have bought fake. They look awesome on the lobes. Got them from a US Seller on ebay!

I as well JUST discovered this new style, which im somewhat surprised about… the price is completely not justified, and i had a stomach ache after purchasing it, but im soooooooooooooooo in love with them. and so happy that i did. I got the ones in gold, and yes they are very unique, they had far less of these ones than all the other colours. I did buy a fake from a local jewelery store that sold them for $15.99, and they look amazing too. However these ones i’ll save for the less dressier occasions i.e. every day wear, and the dior ones for an outing. or holiday. I cant lie that im not nervous this tribal trend will end, but the great thing about it is that you can always turn it around, and wear the larger ball at the front with a regular backing to change it up.
