Emmanuelle Alt style 2015 – A lesson on wearing flared pants

Well, you might have recognised that Emmanuelle Alt, the editor in chief of French Vogue, is one of my favourite style icons. Her style is so simple and minimalist and boheme! She always manages to capture the attention of street style photographers without dressing in the latest IT Pieces from the runways! She simply has the wardrobe every woman is longing for! So OK last week spring Couture was presented in Paris and consequently its high time to get inspired by the Emmanuelle Alt style 2015!

This time around Emmanuelle Alt stayed true to her signature and showed once again that repetition is really a sign of style. A pair of flared pants build the cornerstone of her outfits. The pants looked great with a white fur coat from Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent woman’s runway when she was sitting front row at the Atelier Versace presentation.

For the Schiaparelli and Dior presentations on Monday Emmanuelle Alt opted for a Breton stripe shirt, a pair of flared pants and an oversized peacoat, pic https://www.pinterest.com/stylecloseup/emmanuelle-capucine-geraldine-co/

With a Breton top and an oversized peacoat they looked a little more casual working perfectly well for the daytime presentations of Schiaparelli and Dior.

Paired with a grey burgundy striped tailored wool coat from Étoile Isabel Marant the outfit received a fab elegant makeover and the addition of Emmanuelle’s signature waist belt added a perfect definition in the waist region.

The combination with a classic peacoat appears to be another beautiful way to wear a pair of flared pants.

Somehow Emmanuelle managed to convince me that full length flared pants do look nice! And they really seem to turn into a huge fashion trend at the moment! If you are seeking for more inspirations on how to wear this pant style visit my pinboard “flared pants”!
