I still remember when the whole Chanel espadrilles hype started … It coincided with the Valentino lace espadrilles craze. And soon after the designer espadrilles for summer thing really took off. So enough of the words Chanel espadrilles are still super hot and hard to get!!! Good news for all who missed the cruise versions, new styles come with the spring summer Boulevard Chanel collection, which has just arrived in stores.
There are plenty of lamb skin double sole styles. Colors range from pastel shades, like mint, pink and light orange to more bright hues like red as well as signature graphic styles like white with black toe cap. Besides that fabric tweed versions with patterns that draw inspiration from Chanel’s Boulevard spring show will hit stores.
Are espadrilles really where the Chanel spring 2015 season ends? Chanel espadrilles are a heavily branded product. Aren’t we living in a time where our fashion taste has matured to a point where we turn away from the obvious in search for sophistication and more hidden luxury? So is there something to besides the ever popular Chanel espadrilles? For me yes, definitely. The knee high boots with water-colour pattern and black toe cap are a perfect example. Worn with a neutral dress, like Carine Roitfeld did it with her tropical patterned Hermes boots last year during the couture presentations in summer they will definitely look outstanding.
