Chanel pocket jackets from the Seoul collection

Talking “must haves” and “It pieces” these days its usually all about the bags, shoes, sunglasses and costume jewelry. Rarely the talk is about clothing! However, for Chanel I personally have the strong feeling that this is absolutely not where it ends. After all Chanel was founded as a Couture house instead of a leather goods business. So let’s have a look at the Chanel pocket jackets from the cruise Seoul runway today!

You might be amazed to see me starting a post about Chanel pocket jackets from the brands most recent cruise 2016 Seoul collection with a picture of a male front row guest in a jacket thats seemingly not from the collection I am trying to talk about. But first of all isn’t it a picture thats nice to look at as he is really handsome and second the jacket as such is special!

Its not from the latest collection! Its from cruise Singapore, a collection that was presented two years ago and hit stores in November 2013. Surely everyone says fashion is a loss. Its something for a season. Its better to go for a bag. But in the case of a Chanel pocket jacket its simply wrong. They are as timeless as bags, when chosen wisely! So is there such a show stopper in  the Chanel cruise Seoul?

I’ll bet for the navy/ black jacket with white trim, of course minus the flower brooch. This jacket is a hybrid of the very classic Chanel 1954 jacket style and a baseball jacket. In this way its a great bridge between heritage and trend as well as sporty and elegant.

So what’s your opinion? Do you feel that it’s only worth to shop high fashion for bags, shoes and accessories? Or do you feel that its also worth to risk a look at the clothing?
