Its old news that pearl jewelry made a big comeback this year with the key piece of the season being definitely the Mise en Dior tribal earrings. However, while vacationing in New York I only saw one woman at Bergdorf’s wearing a Dior tribal earring but a huge amount of woman wearing double pearl choker necklaces. So where did the trend originate from?

Seems that everyone is doing ellipse earrings at the moment! Maybe Delfina Delettrez started the trend with her surrealist lip, eye, bee pieces. Although their long sleek shape is really beautiful and particularly flatters a round face, the funny decorative elements never really matched my taste.
