Nikes are everywhere at the moment. But Nike is not the only company benefiting from the current trainer trend. Adidas Originals is equally hip. The classic Stan Smith trainers were relaunched at the beginning of 2014, worn everywhere and inspired a lot of brands including Isabel Marant and Edun to launch similar styles for fall 2014.

I personally adore the mens shoe in simple white leather with green details. The woman’s shoe with the faux croco/ lizard leather is personally not so much my cup of tea. The mix of the sporty tennis shoe and the exotically looking leather tends to give the impression of trying too hard to make a trainer look elegant.

Another super popular style at the moment seems to be the Adidas Superstar. Well I owned a pair back in my teenager years and have to admit that I don t really like the rubber cap of the shoe. But with appropriate styling they can look quite chic too.
