The Ladurée story officially started in the 19th century. A salon de thé, a place where woman were allowed to go without their husband, was opened on the corner of rue Royale in the 8th arrondissement in Paris. Its still there today. But of course a lot has changed. Every month shop windows change, new boxes as well as new exciting macaron flavors are released and yes even a small beauty section has moved into the store and happily this is not the only place to enjoy Ladurée in the world. A huge amount of stores and cafes has been opened in recent years. Get inspired by Ladurée’s most recent pastry and macaron creations here!
